Volunteer Peer Mentors “Women’s Peer Mentoring – Criminal Justice Programme” Greater Manchester
Step Together helps people who are excluded from society to participate in volunteering and build a more positive future. With a generous donation from the Pilgrim Trust, we are piloting a new programme to connect women and girls whose lives are affected by the criminal justice system across Greater Manchester.
Our new volunteer peer mentors will have lived experienced of the criminal justice system and through their shared knowledge of the barriers to living happy and fulfilling lives, they will support our clients into volunteering opportunities that will help them overcome the challenges they face and achieve positive future destinations.
Lived experience of the criminal justice system is essential for this role.
