Project Manager & Course Tutor: “For My Future” - Youth Justice Programme, Bristol
Step Together Volunteering is proud to be a partner with Avon & Somerset Police's Deferred Prosecution Service and RISE Mutual, helping young men (aged 18-25) at risk of offending to follow a more positive pathway. You will be joining us at an exciting time when we are looking to expand our support in Bristol and the surrounding areas.
Building on over 30 years’ experience of supporting young people in Bristol, we are looking to recruit an experienced individual to join our Young People's youth justice project, to deliver our bespoke six week youth training programme, 'For My Future'.

Volunteer Sessional Worker, Young People’s Project, Dumfries & Galloway
We are in need of a reliable, organised and friendly volunteer, ideally with experience of youth support work. Reporting to our Project Manager in Dumfries, you will assist him with the planning and delivery of our programme of activities, liaising with school and volunteering contacts, and supporting him with other ad hoc activities on our Young People’s project.
Our services are delivered remotely but will be in and around the Dumfries area, working with young people out in the community. A car and transport would be beneficial (business mileage and expenses paid).
The role will be for 10 hours a week and include working on a Friday when the Helping Hands programme is underway (twice a year). At other times this is flexible but we anticipate that this person will work on the same days as the Project Manager, on a Thursday and Friday each week.

Trustee with experience of Criminal Justice System
As part of our board succession planning process, we are looking for a Trustee with experience or knowledge of the criminal justice system to ensure this area of our work has representation at Board level.
Your experience will ideally have been gained through professional work in the Criminal Justice Sector. This could be through employment within the Prisons or Probation Service, other Ministry of Justice role, Youth Justice teams, Police, or with another charity or agency working in the sector. Good networks within the justice system in the southwest would be advantageous. You will be knowledgeable about the criminal justice sector, the role the voluntary sector plays, and the challenges faced by the different organisations working in the sector. Ability to work at a strategic level is essential. We are looking for someone who is passionate about the work that we do, and someone who is happy to advocate for and represent the charity to key stakeholders to help further our work and impact.
