30 years of Step Together Volunteering

2024 marked 30 years of Step Together Volunteering supporting people into volunteering!

In 1994 our founder Roger Potter set up a charity to help young people into volunteering, after being inspired with the idea when in Nepal. We have grown a great deal since then, now reaching over 800 people per year, and directly supporting over 200 young people, people in contact with the criminal justice system, and the Armed Forces Community.

30th Anniversary Celebration Event

Thank you so much to everyone who attended our 30th anniversary celebration in Bristol. Our staff, volunteers and trustees loved meeting you all in person and chatting about our projects, plans and celebrating our progress over the years. It was great to connect with so many charity partners and supporters all of whom are key to our work across the UK.

It was a wonderful day to showcase our work with young people, the Armed Forces community, and people in contact with the justice system. If you would like to find out more about how we can help or about our services, do get in touch!
