Heathlands Veterans' Allotment Project

Thanks to funding from the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust's ‘Positive Pathways’ programme, and with help from our charity partners, we are embarking on an exciting allotment project in Heathlands, Cumbria!

Our Veterans are working on transforming a rural plot of land at Heathlands, near Carlisle, into a garden and allotment. The programme will bring together people from all corners of the Armed Services community and help improve their mental health and wellbeing, whilst working on a project that will benefit not only them and their families, going forward, but the wider local community.

Want to get involved?

Opening Hours: Tuesday - Thursday 8:30am - 3:30pm

If you have any team leading or project management skills, or simply want to volunteer with a group of people who are on a mission to make a difference to beneficiaries and their own lives, then do get in touch, or make a referral.
