Supporting Young People in Bristol – Reducing Reoffending

We support young people in Bristol who are at risk of offending or who have offended, in partnership with Avon and Somerset Police’s Chance to Change Scheme. We are working to support young people to help reach their potential, and avoid the cycle of entering the criminal justice system. We believe that every young person has something to offer.

We have 2 programmes:

1-1 Support & Community Volunteering

We work with young people aged 16-25 on a 1-1 basis, to support them into volunteering, and to improve their confidence, skills, and resilience. To make a referral, click on the link below. To find out more or to speak with our Project Manager, get in touch with Head Office.

‘For My Future’ Course - supporting young people who have offended develop employment-related skills

'For My Future' is a tailored 6 week course for young people aged 18-24, created by Step Together Volunteering. It aims to support young people through developing a pro-social mindset, decision making, personal skills and confidence, in addition to more practical elements such as training, college and employment.

All referrals for ‘For My Future’ are made through Avon & Somerset Police, Rise Mutual and Nelson Trust.
